13th Manhattan Fun Ride (April 24th)

Here is the date for the fun ride in Manhattan this Spring. Ride will be from 1pm until 6pm if the little ones can last that long!

Please post if you are planning on attending.

This ride is for everybody but especially for the younger kids that want to have a safe environment to learn. There is different level of difficulties on the trails so everybody should find something at his/her level.

Always a good time, Luc knows how to entertain all ages! There is a car thing happening for me, but I might skip it and ride the 990 out to see everyone. Thanks for putting it on Luc!

Wow! Coming up THIS Saturday already! I plan to come, but as usual, I'll be considering the "mudfest factor". Question my manhood all you want. I can take it.

My plan is to ride my 990 out. Possibly meet my boys there and see everyone. Looking forward to some catching up.

Unfortunately we are a no-go. Lars has his knee in a brace and is on crutches. Lindsay, Lars, and I will miss seeing the crew and riding.

Lars survived 5 days skiing expert runs at Steamboat only to be home <24 hours and be injured in a soccer game. I thought soccer was a non-contact sport ... ;p

In 1981 my brother was the goaltender for the Rockhurst HS soccer team. He had a leg shattered in a game. Both the tibula and fibula were shattered in multiple places and ankle messed up. 4 surgeries and a year later he was off crunches and walking properly. Yep, soccer is a non contact sport.

I cringe every time someone uses the word "shattered" in context to a bone break. Yikes!

Soccer is un-American, therefore.....if you don't participate in it, your knee will remain un-injured.

We did not get any rain today, so conditions should be Primo! Sorry to hear about Lars, I hope he will recover quickly!

Good times indeed, nobody got hurt that I know of! it was fun to see everybody! XRnut and his boys shcooled everybody again by showing us how big Adventure bikes were meant to be used!
Met some new people, it was all good and fun!!!

Late to post up the THANKS GAGNAOU FAMILY for inviting us to play at your palace, the Hackney boys appreciate it. It was also nice to see our buddy T roy, but that kind of goes without saying

No injuries or broken bike parts here, so that was good. We went on to ride down to Chase state lake and camped Saturday night. I think I nearly hit 500 miles from 1:00 pm saturday until I got back home around 2:00 pm Sunday. My rear ached the next day! Tyler led a nice scenic loop both directions down and back up.
